Since stainless steel rods are shaped, there are many shapes such as flat, hexagonal or hexagonal, round and square.

The absolute roughness of hot-rolled stainless steel round bar is higher than that of drawn round bar. This is not a problem when the rod is used only for its strength and corrosion resistance properties. However, when the bar is used for aesthetic applications and outdoor accessories, cold drawn stainless steel round bar is preferred because of its smooth surface and low absolute roughness.
