Project Introduction
This project was served for High pressure boiler fabrication to supply seamless pipes for heating system and stem transmission system. High pressure boiler request the materials used for high pressure bearing parts must have high strength and durable plasticity, good organizational stability, high relaxation stability, good oxidation resistance; Considering all above requirements, low alloy matrial of S355 was selected and special impact test on both 0 degree and -20 degree to assure system can work in high & low temperature smoothly.
Project Difficulties
To enhance the transmission speed for heating and stem system, end customer request a pretty small tolerance on pipe wall thickness compare to standard of EN10210. To satisfy the design parameter, USI technique and production team solve this issue by pre-treatment rolling moudle and adjust the piercing speed.
Project achivements
Contribute to serving this project, USI technique and production team overcame a technical problem and improved production technology for future which in turn can help USI team better support more OEM.
